We are glad to inform you that once again the time has come for celebrating the 'Spirit of Mumbai' . This is the 4 th year of Mumbai Festival that Hiranandani Group has been associated with the celebration.

It is a deep desire of Mr. Hiranandani, since the inception of the Mumbai Festival in the year 2005, to give a wonderful platform to this section of people for celebrating the Spirit of Mumbai. This is a great opportunity to honor and felicitate the 'Rickshawallas' who are the lifeline of Mumbai suburbs.
So, every year we have been doing an unique Event called 'The Auto Rickshaw Race'. This year the event has been christened as 'Formula A' by Mr. Surendra Hiranandani.
With an overwhelming response of last 3 years we are back in its all new Avatar with lots of fun, sporting spirit & entertainment. 2008 Auto Rickshaw Race event is organized by Hiranandani Group with 'bp'(an exclusive Associate Sponsor) and TVS Motors as the Prize Partner's. In fact TVS will promote their new product TVS King (The King of Autos) – Auto Rickshaw, which is yet to be launched in Mumbai, with Big FM 92.7 as the Radio Partner and Sahara as the telecast partner.
We had opened up 10 registration counters on Western and Eastern suburb with approximately 1000 enquiries and after thorough scrutiny of all legal documents, about 130 contestants had been shortlisted for the elimination rounds so far. These contestants drove their rickshaws with great speed and skill in elimination rounds to top the list of best 25 semi-finalists with best timings.
The event was launched by Mr. Prakash Shah, Director- Sales & Finance, Hiranandani Group with elimination rounds on Cliff Avenue Road, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai on 21st Jan and it will go on till 24th Jan 2008.
The Grand Finale of the event will be conducted on 26 th Jan'08 from 1.00 pm onwards at the country's one of the best Go-Kart tracks at Hiranandani Garden, Powai, Mumbai . 25 Semi Finalist will race on go-kart tracks in 5 batches and 5 winners from each batch will qualify for the finals. The Race will demonstrate their driving skill with stop in between 2 rounds to play fun activities to cut the speed and to entertain and cheer-up the crowd. The whole event will be an exciting one with thrill and fun. Laughter Challenge Champion Mr. Kyali and also Mr. Deepu Srivastava will entertain and cheer-up the crowd. Bollywood Actor Mr. Mukesh Rishi is expected to be present to grace the occasion.
The First Winner will receive cash prize of Rs.40,000/-, 2nd Winner Rs.30,000/-, 3rd Winner Rs.20,000/- and the 4th & 5th Winner will receive Rs.10,000/- each, all in cash.
